WorkSafe
The WorkSafe program is a targeted injury prevention program, designed and presented in a format that identifies and addresses the specific risks and issues faced by your staff.
The program is designed to educate workers in two key injury prevention areas:
- Manual Handling – Back Care
- Repetitive Strain – Upper Limb Occupational Overuse Syndrome
The program is delivered in a format, which systematically addresses the three important steps to improved injury management practice within your organisation. They are
- Task Analysis
- WorkSafe education & training
- Integrated Problem Solving
Pre-employment Screening (PES)
PES is an important preventative service which identifies a prospective employees “injury risk potential” and suitability for work.
Based on a task analysis, this objective and impartial service utilizes the principles
of sports medicine and human movement to identify an applicants physical suitability to the tasks and environment of the proposed position.
PhysioPlus PES enables employers to;
- identify pre-existing conditions
- Identify the injury risk of applicants
- identify an individuals physical capability and suitability for work
- task-match employees to duties appropriate to their physical capacity
- minimise workplace injuries and workers compensation premiums
- reinforce their duty-of-care responsibilities to new employees
